Why we report to clients every week, without exception

Every Leadsmith project has a standing weekly report: progress against programme, spend against budget, and a plain-language list of decisions we need from the client.
It sounds administrative. In practice it is the single biggest reason our projects finish close to their original budget. Problems surface while they are still cheap to fix, and clients never feel managed at arm's length.
